OTISAC collaborate with OTCEP

(established by CSA) to advance the Security of Operational Technology in ASEAN

Singapore – May 4, 2021 - In the spirit of mutual defense, OT-ISAC continuously builds partnerships and expands cooperation with other organizations that strengthen our capacity for OT security. To that end we are thrilled to support the Operational Technology Cybersecurity Expert Panel (OTCEP) first meeting this coming September 2021.

The Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) has established the OT Cybersecurity Expert Panel (OTCEP), which comprises 11 local and international Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity experts. OTCEP will discuss issues including governance policies and processes, evolving technologies, emerging trends, threat intelligence sharing and incident response. The panel will also recommend best practices to address cybersecurity challenges and gaps in the OT sector.

OT-ISAC Members can gain insights from the expert panelists based on their experience in handling global cybersecurity incidents with the response teams of the various stakeholders during this closed door meeting.

Besides serving as a platform to facilitate cross-sector sharing, the OTCEP meetings will also promote networking and stimulate discussion between venture capitalists and industry in Singapore to grow our own pool of OT cybersecurity professionals, and cultivate a local OT cybersecurity community to meet increasing demands.

Members who wishes to attend the forum should confirm their interest by emailing us at membership@otisac.org

Final details will be sent out as soon as they are available from CSA.
